Improvement to large presses for the injection moulding of thermoplastic materials, generally comprised of moulds in two complementary parts; one part associated to a fixed plate; the other associated to a mobile plate slidable along parallel guide columns and which can be blocked by means of hydraulically activated transverse, semi-collars which engage corresponding circumferential throats of hydraulic cylinders connected to the mobile plate.
