Abstract From the Canadian patent

A device for anchoring in the ground comprises two parts (1, 2) relatively movable in axial direction and a transversally expansible arrangement (4) adapted to be actuated for expansion upon relative movement between the parts for the purpose of anchoring the device in the ground. (Fig 6).
