A port 12 and closure 10 assembly is provided. The closure 10 includes a cap 30 that cooperates with the port 12 to produce a friction fit. The cap 30 and port 12 are hermetically sealed together by a coating 38. The coating 38 provides a method of determining if the closure 10 has been opened.
