The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing panels, strips, panel-like forms or sections from plastics preferably thermoplastics, of high mechanical strength based upon, molecular orientation by roll-press-stretching within the roll-gap between at least one pair of pressure- or compression-rolls at roll-, and material-temperatures below the crystallite melting point or the softening temperature of the plastic and above 303 K under press-, stretching, the roll-press-stretching of the panels strips, panel-like, forms or sections being carried out at the same or nearly the same, peripheral velocity of the pressure- or compression-rolls or without, friction, at …
