The present invention relates to a process for removing organic contaminants from soil which comprises circulating through the contaminated soil a liquid phase adapted to transfer the contaminants from soil to said liquid phase until substantial transfer of all the contaminants to the liquid phase and causing, said liquid phase containing the contaminants to circulate through a solid adsorbent material until the contaminants have been adsorbed on the solid adsorbent and it also relates to a process for removing organic contaminants from soil which comprises circulating through the contaminated soil a liquid phase adapted to transfer a portion of the contaminants to the liquid phase and then …
