A connector for tubular poles of a dome type tent is disclosed which is characterized by a disk shaped based section having a central aperture which is surrounded by upstanding walls at each of opposite sides of base section. The upstanding walls are reinforced by cross walls extending across the aperture. Sockets for receiving end portions of the tubular poles are formed by walls on opposite sides of the base section and are, equiangular arranged so that the sockets extend radially about the base section.
