Abstract From the Canadian patent

This invention is concerned with novel (3pyridinyl)methyleneaminoalcohols which may structurally be represented by the general formula (II), an N-oxide form, a metal substitution salt or a stereochemically isomeric form thereof. These compounds are useful for the preparation of (3pyridinyl)methyleneaminooxyalkanoic acids and esters.
