Abstract From the Canadian patent

A novel treatment scenario which considerably improves detackification of paint overspray consisting of undiluted high solids enamel, epoxy resin or polyurethanes in the wash water of paint spray booths is disclosed, comprised of (i) a dialkylamineepihalohydrin in combination with a modified tannin and/or (ii) a dialkylamine epihalohydrin in combination with a melamine formaldehyde type polymer.
