O.Z. 0050/39190, Herbicidal sulfonamides their manufacture, and their use for influencing plant growth, ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Substituted sulfonylureas of the formula I I, where, R1 is hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C3-C4-alkenyl or alkynyl C1-C4-haloalkyl, C3-C6-alkoxyalkyl, C4-C6-haloalkoxyalkyl or C5-C6-cycloalkyl R2 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, R3 is hydrogen halogen, methyl or methoxy, R4 is hydrogen methyl or methoxy, X is N or C-H, and Hal is fluorine chlorine or bromine, and alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salts thereof with the proviso, that R1 is not methyl when Hal is chlorine and X is N a process for the, manufacture of sulfonylureas of the formula I and their use as …
