A calandria tank for use in a pressure tube type nuclear reactor. The calandria tank has a rectangular parallelepiped outer configuration and calandria tubes are arranged in a lattice-like form which is parallel to the side walls of the tank. The calandria tank may be composed of a plurality of calandria tube units of the same configuration and assembled together.
