Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract of The Disclosure, Heavy duty liquid laundry detergent compositions which clean, soften and provide static control and which comprise: (1), sulfated (optionally ethoxylated) alcohol anionic surfactant (2), ion pair complex, (3) cumene, xylene or toluene sulfonate, (4), smectite-type clay and (S) ethoxylated nonionic surfactant. The compositions are in the form of stable homogeneous suspensions, which have a low viscosity a near-neutral pH, and a specified, yield value. Such compositions impart fabric care benefits through-the-wash without significantly impairing cleaning performance.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted May 4, 1993. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended May 4, 2010.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
