Abstract From the Canadian patent

A start signal is generated for parallel-synchronous operation of three substantially identical data processing units an array of three identical unit outputs parallel-synchronously assuming concurring binary states, or a plurality of output arrays transmitting mutually like data words respectively. Due, to individual random start-ups the units are caused to perform, in parallel mutually different data processes. Each of three EXOR-responsive bit comparators or word comparators respec-, tively, are connected via the output arrays to two of the units.
