Wily Joseph Noerens, INVENTOR Wily Joseph NOERENS, ABSTRACT, A torque controlling device associated with the tractor and a trailer of a tractor-trailer vehicle drives the tractor wheels and at the same time drives a hydraulic converter on the tractor which communicates by appropriate conduits to a hydraulic motor on the trailer. The hydraulic motor on the trailer drives the wheels on the trailer. Both the apparatus and the method of controlling the torque controlling device to wheel sets of the tractor and of the trailer are disclosed.
