Abstract From the Canadian patent

Container holders for carrying liquid dispensing jugs or bottles are commonly awkward, uncomfortable devices. A simple holder of this type includes a belt for wearing around the waist of the user; a first, horizontal strap which extends around the middle of a jug in the inverted position; a second strap for extending around the bottom of the inverted jug between opposite sides of the first strap; a third strap occupying a plane perpendicular to that occupied by the second strap, for extending around the top end of the jug; and a sleeve in said third strap for retaining the neck of the container.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted December 15, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended December 15, 2009.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
