An improved document file is proposed which has a pair of covers, a plurality of bag members laminated one upon another, and a plurality of padding members mounted in space formed between the adjoining bag members. The padding members serve to eliminate any difficulty in opening the compartments formed by the bag members due to limpness of the material of which the bag members are made.
