2229, Abstract, The invention relates to a device for the manufacture of amorphous ceramic materials or metal alloys comprising a high pressure autoclav, in which firstly a crude sample is heated up to its melting point via a laser beam and then rapidly cooled down. According to the invention the sample is held in, a process position (2) in an autoclav (1) without contact via an acoustic levitation installation (12). Laser beams are directed on the process position by penetrating into the autoclav through windows (19), thereby heating up the sample. The molten sample is then crushed between two colliding stamps (20, 21) and is thus quickly cooled down. Unique figure
