The invention relates to a flow monitor (1) arranged on a conduit section (2) through which the medium to be monitored is flowing, with a flow pressure plate (3) of an actuating element (5) which extends through an opening in the wall of the conduit section, with the flow pressure plate placed in the flow path of the medium.
