Abstract From the Canadian patent

A procedure for manufacturing pipes and sections out of thermoplastic plastics in which these substances are expelled through a revolving opening and the temperature in the area of the opening is controlled. To hold the wall thickness of the section or pipe produced during such a procedure constant, the change in the wall thickness of the pipe which comes about as a function of the change in temperature in the area of the opening is determined and the temperature is regulated depending on the correlation and the given set wall thickness, where the temperature in the area of the opening is regulated separately section by section with the, latter sections extending in the circumferential …
