Abstract From the Canadian patent

A kind of automatic stretching bumper absorb shock system, which is designed on basis of the principle of oil-pressure transmitting the shocking force and absorbing by the gas. It primarily comprises oil tank pump, oil filter, check valve, low oil-pressure alarming switch cross connector, accumulator set, pressure relief valve shut-off valve, solenoid valve, flow limit valve actuators, and front/rear, bumpers. By means of the said structure it has formed a, nonfixing status between front/rear bumpers and car body. At the moment when depress the brake pedal under emergency solenoid valve thereby is controlled by micro-motion switch of brake under emergency condition, and it furtherly drives …
