Abstract From the Canadian patent

A resin extruder in which the degree-of-kneading of the resin can be effectively controlled. The invention can be applied to both a single-screw extruder and a twinscrew extruder. In either case, blocking walls are formed around a cylindrical portion of the screw or screws just upstream of the kneading section. A valve structure is provided in the walls to control the kneading of resin at the kneading section.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted September 1, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended September 1, 2009.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
