This invention relates to processes and compositions for color stabilized distillate fuel oils which comprises an effective color stabilizing amount of (a) a tertiary amine having the formula wherein R and R' are the same or different alkyl groups having one to about six carbon atoms, and (b) a hydroxylamine having the formula wherein R and R' are the same or different and are hydrogen alkyl, alkaryl or aralkyl groups, wherein the weight ratio of (a):(b) is from about 1:1 to about 99.7:0.3.
