Wood, for A PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING LOW-ACID, GLUTARIC-ANHYDRIDE-CONTAINING COPOLYMERS DN 86-35 JET/meb, ABASTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Thermoplastic copolymers of glutaric anhydride and (meth)acrylic esters may be prepared free of acid groups by reacting a (meth)acrylic ester polymer with a secondary amine at elevated temperature and, subsequently removing volatile components from the polymer at elevated temperature and reduced pressure.
