Apparatus for reducing net distributed magnetic radiation in front of a cathode ray apparatus screen. In such cathode ray apparatus a deflection coil is provided having axially aligned and circumferentially aligned wire segments, relative to the central axis thereof producing a, distributed magnetic field in front of the screen which is undesirable.
