Abstract From the Canadian patent
The present invention discloses a cartridge (1) that is used to expel fluids at high pressure. An essential element of the cartridge (1) is a driver (4) that is located axially between a propellant-charge chamber (2) and a fluid chamber (3). On the flat end face (7) of the driver (4) there is an end piece (21) that is retained by a shape-locking or force-locking fit; this can be separated axially from the driver (4) by the pressure of the fluid flowing into the fluid chamber (3) and, moved forwards towards the muzzle of the weapon.
