Abstract From the Canadian patent

This invention relates to a process for polymerizing olefins using a catalyst composed of a transition metal catalyst component,an aluminoxane component and an organoaluminum component. In the process of this invention, the catalyst exhibits excellent polymerization activity with the use of a small amount of the aluminoxane. The polymerization process gives olefin polymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution and by the copolymerization of two or more olefins gives olefin, copolymers having a narrow molecular weight distribution and a narrow composition distribution.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted July 14, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended July 14, 2009.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
