A device for localized bone manipulation includes a base member and a support member. The support member is spaced apart from the base member and is disposed generally parallel to the base member for supporting the bone being manipulated. A structure extends between the base member and the support member for generating superiorly anteriorly, and, if desired, laterally directed forces on the bone being manipulated.
