Abstract From the Canadian patent

An adjustable brush glider mountable to a brush block to provide a surface for supporting the brush block a selected distance away from a floor. The glider provides a smooth gliding surface and is, adjustable, without being removed to allow control, over the amount of contact between the bristles and the floor.
