Abstract From the Canadian patent

The invention refers to the production of mechanical pulp from fibre containing material in a defibrating device e.g. a refiner at superatmospheric pressure whereby problems with, recovery of heat energy and with unstable working pressure conditions are solved in a recovery system following the refining with the separation of steam and fibre possible cleaning of the, steam in a scrubber and steam transformer in order to produce clean and fresh steam by means of indirect heat exchanging to increase, the fresh steam energy content and to create a greater buffer, volume for regulating the working pressure at the fibrillation proper by placing the pressure regulation after the steam transformer.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted June 16, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended June 16, 2009.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
