Q 7065 (R) + Q 7066 (R), ABSTRACT, Method and apparatus for preparing a food product by rolling a piece of plastic, deformable food material in the presence of a particulate coating material in a revolving drum, thereby reshaping said piece of material into a roundish, coated body. The roundish body is preferably spherical, annular or roundish cylindrical. The food material is for instance, mashed potato, minced fish or dough and preferably aerated frozen, confection.
