A novel fresh produce container with a novel automatic bottom and a novel built-in interlocking top closure system is disclosed. The container body member is usually of poly-coated paper-board and formed from an integral blank comprising top closure flaps articulated to the top part of wall members, the top closure flaps when, folded into closing position, interlocking to secure the content stored therein, while creating a strong support for the stacking of other such containers, each closure member containing defined areas for decorative ventilation cut-outs as well as for interlocking component cut-outs.
