Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract of the Disclosure: In the connector of the present invention terminals, are locked in their associated passages by causing projections provided near the free end of cantilever-like resilient arms in such a manner as to project inwardly of the respective passages to fit in their associated recesses formed in the terminals accommodated in the passages. An individually formed fixing member is mounted over the place where the resilient arms are formed to prevent the arms from being deflected outwardly.

Why it's free to use

  • Granted May 26, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended May 26, 2009.
  • We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
