Abstract From the Canadian patent

A polycistronic construction of xenoqeneic sequences expressible in eukaryotic cells is described. DHFR encoding sequences under control of the same promoter with another foreign gene can be amplified with methotrexate and thus cause, coamplification of the foreign gene.
