Abstract of the Disclosure A latching device used to fasten a cable or a similar item to another surface is equipped with a springloaded, adjustable locking section. By using one motion the, item can be inserted and secured. As the connector is inserted in the receptacle, the locking section automatically rotates into place thereby retaining the receptacle.
