The present invention involves a valve assembly comprised of a first valve and a second valve the first, valve connected to a supply pipe for allowing a sterile fluid production material flowing in the supply pipe to be discharged from the supply pipe into a chamber the second, valve being in communication with the chamber for allowing the material to flow from the chamber to a delivery pipe. The first and second valves have first and second valve plugs, respectively, being oriented on either side of the chamber and having the valve plugs being aligned on a common axis which passes through the chamber.
