Abstract, The device has a flat, elongated self-supporting, preferably transparent backing strip and a transparent front strip bearing side and bottom flanges bonded to the backing strip. Both strips are preferably plastic and the front strip is vacuum molded to a configuration which defines with the backing strip an upper open-topped hollow specimen collection tube for urine samples and the like and a lower microscope slide having an internal chamber. An intermediate narrow bore, hollow conduit, preferably about 0.06 inch diameter, interconnects the slide chamber with the lower interior portion of the collection tube so, that sediment and the like can gravitate from the collection tube …
