Abstract From the Canadian patent

A cover for a post beam or other elongate, object is formed by interengagement of projections extended along a longitudinal edges of four elongate cover members assembled around the object. The projections include interengageable hook-shaped cross-sectional shapes and are provided at the edges of flat body portions, having longitudinal ribs formed on major surfaces thereof for spacing the body portions from the surfaces of the object. The cover members are made of plastic by an extrusion process. -10-
