A wavelength locked pulsed dye laser system is disclosed. The system includes a low-power continuous wave laser disposed to inject continuous wave, single wavelength, laser light emitted therefrom into the optical cavity of a pulsed dye laser whereby the wavelength of pulsed laser light emitted from the dye laser is locked at the wavelength of the continuous wave, single wavelength, laser light. Also disclosed is a method of operating a pulsed dye laser system to provide a wavelength locked pulsed laser light. The method includes providing a low-power continuous wave laser and a pulsed dye laser and aligning the lasers relative to each other such that a continuous wave, single wavelength …

Why it's free to use
- Granted March 24, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended March 24, 2009.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
