BASF Aktiengesellschaft O.Z. 0050/38498 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: Fluoroalkyl-substituted quinoline derivatives of the formula, where R1 is chlorine. fluorine hydroxyl, O?Met?, C1-C4-alkoxy or a, radical of the formula , R2 and R3 independently of one another are each hydrogen C1-C3-alkyl or, C1-C3-fluoroalkyl, R4 is fluorine chlorine or bromine, with the proviso that one or both of the radicals R2 and R3 are C1-C3-fluoroalkyl. herbicides containing these compounds as active ingredients and their use, for controlling unwanted plant growth.
