Abstract From the Canadian patent

The present invention relates to a perihepatic prosthesis characterised in that it comprises at least one wing constituted of a central part intended to surround a lobe of the liver and a peripheral fixing part the said peripheral, part having a first transverse edge intended to be fixed on the preliminarily sectioned falciform ligament.
