These objects are made from polymer such as polystyrene, and polysaccharides and to them is given an anti-inflammatory activity by fixing groups which inhibit the activation of the complement system such as-CH2-COO-Na, -COONa -COY, and , with Y representing a, radical derived from an amino acid.
