Abstract From the Canadian patent

Case 5-14130/=DIV I, 21489-6368D, Abstract of the Disclosure 2-Amino-4-cyclopropylpyrimidines and - triazines and, processes to prepare them, of the general formula V are described: in which E is methine or nitrogen, R1 is hydrogen lower alkyl or, lower alkoxy, and R2 is halogen lower alkyl, lower-haloalkyl, lower alkoxy lower haloalkoxy, amino, lower alkylamino lower di-, alkylamino, cycloalkyl or lower alkoxyalkyl. These compotmds find use in the preparation of the related N-(cyclopropylpyrimidinyl)and N-(cyclopropyltriazinyl)-N'-(arylsulfonyl)ureas which have, herbicidal pxoperties.
