A non-skid device for wheels more particularly vehicle-wheels, comprising a central part (3), a plurality of arms (4-7) extending therefrom a non-skid means (8) secured, to the said arms and tightening and retaining parts (9-13) serving to draw the nonskid device (1) onto the wheel-tread and to hold it there. In order to ensure that the tightening and retaining parts (9-13) do not wear prematurely and cannot be incorrectly hooked to the wheel, and that rotating movements of the non-skid means (8) in relation to the wheel, are not transferred to the said tightening and retaining parts. the latter are integral with a centre part (22) the said centre part, and holding, part (17) being arranged …
