Abstract of the Disclosure A fishing lure rigging system in which a lure body includes forward and rearward hooks and is separable from the hooks should one or both hooks become snagged beneath the surface of the water or in an object such as a tree when casting the lure. The lure body includes a forward channel which extends from the nose portion to the underside of a mid-portion of the body and a rearward channel which extends from the mid-portion of the body adjacent to the forward channel, to the tail portion of the body.
