Abstract of the Disclosure There are provided continuous-wear lenses formed by polymerizing a hexafluoroisopropyl ester of an unsaturated carboxylic acid which can have an oxygen permeability in excess of at least 150 x 10-11(cm2/sec.) (ml O2/ml x mm Hg). A UV-absorbing agent is optionally present.
