Abstract, Reduced reactivity polyols are provided as foam controllers in the production of polyurethane foams. When the foam controllers are incorporated into polyurethane foam formulations, foam rise time is increased without adverse effects on foam characteristics, such as load bearing capability resiliency and porosity. The foam controllers are acid grafted polyethers, such as acrylic acid grafted poly(alkylene oxides), and can be employed in surprisingly low concentrations to control reactivity.

Why it's free to use
- Granted January 21, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 21, 2009.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
