The present invention relates to the synthetic production of alkali salts of low molecular humic acids. The production is carried out In that polyhydric phenols are oxidized in a weakly alkaline aqueous medium at a temperature ranging from 15 to 40°C, whereupon the reaction mixture is adjusted and/or buffered to a pH value in the range of 6.2 to 7.2 and the low molecular alkali huminates are purified by preparative chromatography method, ultrafiltration, ultracentrifugation or electrodialysis and are separated from undesired by-products.

Why it's free to use
- Granted January 21, 1992. A Canadian patent filed before October 1, 1989 lasted 17 years from grant, so its term ended January 21, 2009.
- We check Canadian rights only. A patent in its family in another country could still be in force: check its family on Google Patents.
