TITLE OF THE INVENTION, "NOVEL BOILER CORROSION INHIBITOR COMPOSITIONS AND METHOD", ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION, A method for inhibiting corrosion due to dissolved oxygen wherein a trihydroxybenezene compound hexahydroxybenezene or levadopa, alone or in combination with conventional oxygen scavengers is, added to boiler water to prevent corrosion by reducing dissolved oxygen levels in boiler feedwater.
