Abstract From the Canadian patent

Abstract:, The present invention is directed to an optical code reading device which comprises a light source and scanning head for projecting light to illuminate an object to be read. An optical fiber transfers the light from the light source so that the spot size can be made as small as possible and the shape of the light can be a true circle.
