Abstract From the Canadian patent

A liquid pharmaceutical composition for aerosol administration is provided which comprises nifedipine as an active ingredient and a solvent therefore together with, a propellant held within an aerosol dispension container. The composition possess a high degree of stability and is suitable for rapid and instant administration in the absence of medical assistance for the treatment of coronary heat disease.
