Abstract From the Canadian patent

An improved cleaning preparation and/or disinfectant which is low in or rather free from nitrogen and phosphorus to meet environmental requirements and which is particularly suitable for the removal of soil such as for, example, carbohydrates, protein, fats inorganic mineral constituents and, other remains in the food-processing industry. At the same time the cleaning, preparation and/or disinfectants of the invention are intended to leave chrome-nickel steels, aluminium and copper surfaces free from corrosion at temperatures of up to 85°C. e.g. from ambient temperatures up to 85°C. preferably at a temperature of from 40°C. to 85°C.
